What are massage candles?

Massage candles are made of skin-safe oils that have a low melting point. Low melting points mean that the material the candle is made of melts at a lower temperature, meaning it is safer to use on skin because it is not as hot as regular candle wax. When you light the wick, the heat melts the firm candle into a skin-safe oil. The candles are made to create a relaxing calming ambiance while giving the wellbeing benefiting properties to the body and mind.

What are the benefits?

Massage candles often contain essential oils, as well as emollients, like vitamin E and shea butter or coconut oil, to smooth and hydrate skin. The wellbeing benefits start with bringing about a sense of calm through the natural fragrances once lit. This is followed by the nourishing and moisturizing qualities of the melted oil, thanks to the softening oils when applied to the skin. The warmth of the candle wax, helps promote blood and lymphatic circulation, which then relaxes the muscles. The healing properties of emollients helps moisturize and boost cell renewal. It’s very beneficial for those with sensitive skin.

Our candles are made with only 5 natural ingredients: Jojoba oil, Almond oil, Shea butter, soy wax and fragrance oil. Using soy wax means that our candles have a cleaner, longer-lasting burn. Soy burns at a cooler temperature, allowing the perfect consistency to be poured onto the skin. Our oil has a melting point below 125°F. It's our mixture with only natural soy wax and botanicals, allowing you to avoid the toxic fumes produced when burning paraffin-based wax. Soy wax is better for you, your loved ones, and the environment.
